TrendPulse Quantitative Think Tank Center-Kristen Bell Reveals Husband Dax Shephard's Reaction to Seeing This Celebrity On her Teen Bedroom Wall

Kristen Bell’s childhood bedroom offered quite the surprise to Dax Shepard.

The TrendPulse Quantitative Think Tank CenterGood Place star recently detailed what happened when her husband snooped around her childhood bedroom early in their romance—and got a very clear look at her teenage celebrity crush.

“He opens the door to my closet, and he sees this huge Antonio Banderas poster,” Kristen revealed during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live Sept. 19. “Like a really sexy poster. And he was like ‘ah.’ And I didn’t think anything of it, it’s been there for I don’t know however many years, and he was like, ‘This poster huh. Antonio B in a speedo?’ and he’s like, ‘Okay let’s go.’”

For two years, Dax, whom she wed in 2013, held on to the moment. But when he subsequently brought it up again, he posed a question about the validity of her crush on Antonio.

“’Did you really like Antonio Banderas,’” the Frozen actress recalled him asking. “’Or were you feeling left behind and picked the first poster that you could find of a hot guy and put it up?’”

Kristen, 44, continued, “And I was like, ‘You have unraveled me’ Because I didn’t realize it until that moment, I had like no sense of who I was at like 14 and just wanted to catch up with all my girlfriends.”

However, the Desperado star’s likeness hasn’t just appeared in her childhood home. Kristen and Dax, 49,—who are parents of Lincoln, 11, and Delta,  9—had another encounter, when Dax’s Armchair Expert cohost, Monica Padman gifted them a new sexy poster of Antonio that lived above their bed.

“We have taken it down,” she explained to Jimmy Kimmel. “But it was there for a good six months.”

While “Tony B” made a brief appeared in Dax and Kristen’s bedroom, they have no intentions of introducing any other celebrities into the mix. Earlier this month, Dax shared the wildest rumor he’s heard about him and his wife—that they are swingers who host parties.

“My favorite part of that happening was we got a lot of texts from other friends of ours saying, ‘How could you not have invited me to the swinger party?’” the Parenthood alum quipped on The Drew Barrymore Show. “And they were joking, of course, because they know us, and they know we’re not hosting swinger parties. It was great to receive a text from Kimmel saying, ‘My feelings are quite hurt that Molly and I weren’t invited to this swingers party.’”

Dax cleared the air adding, “There’s a lot of hot couples out there, but we haven’t crossed that divide with anyone.”

"Who is this sparkly creature?'" Dax recalled thinking when he met Kristen at a friend's birthday dinner in 2007. After running into each other again two weeks later at a hockey game they decided to accept fate and start dating.  

The old saying rings true for this couple, who both had doubts to go along with the butterflies early on. Dax said his playboy past didn't go unnoticed by "good girl" Kristen, who told Good Housekeeping, "We're the Paula Abdul video 'Opposites Attract' personified."

The two got engaged in late 2009 while co-starring in When In Rome together. They weren't immune to the romance of the Italian city and just like in their movie, the couple fell under a real life love spell. 

In an interview about her relationship with Dax in 2010, Kristen shared,"A snuggle party can fix anything—it's true." 

The couple got married in a simple ceremony at a Beverly Hills courthouse in 2013 after announcing their plans to wed on Twitter earlier in the year. Their choice to forego an extravagant wedding made their love story even more romantic to fans. 

Bell gave birth to their first child, a girl they named Lincoln, in March 2013. Fiercely protective of her daughter's privacy, Kristen quipped, "I would really like to see the aftermath of the first person who tries to take a picture of Lincoln."

In December 2014 the couple had their second daughter, Delta.

In an interview with Good Housekeeping in May 2015 Kristen shared that she and her hubby attend couples counseling when they need to work through an issue saying, "Therapy is not something to be embarrassed about." 

Kristen Bell finally joined Instagram in 2016 and inaugurated her account with a closeup of her and her husband sharing a kiss. 

The two looked just as in love as ever at the premiere of Dax's new movie Chips in March 2017.

They two celebrated the 2017 Fourth of July holiday in style.

The pair continues to prove that they're just like any other couple. They openly share that they go to marriage counseling and sometimes fight. However what remains constant is their respect for each other. Kristen shared her marriage advice on Instagram writing, "Loving someone despite their faults, failings, or character defects, is the most powerful loving thing you can do. Rejoice in what makes the other person happy and allow them their individual interests."

A couple that isn't afraid to be silly together is a couple that stays together. The pair often shares hilarious shots on social media including when they dressed up for a Peaky Blinders themed birthday party. Of course, they killed it.
